Living and lifestyle in Callala and surrounding areas

Jervis Bay and the Shoalhaven region, is a place of beaches, bush and natural beauty.

Jervis Bay is a large protected bay ‘pinched’ between two curved promontories with its opening to the ocean between the Point Perpendicular and Governor Head. Jervis Bay Marine Park’s sheltered bay is an ideal environment for dolphins, seals, sea eagles and penguins. Whales can be spotted between June and November on their migration to and from the Antarctic.
